Testimonials

Here’s what our students have to say about their experience at Zouk Dance Academy.

Dev Sasidharan

I liked how she was able to break down complex concepts to help her students get the correct fundamentals, rather than blazing through the syllabus. I enjoy her blunt and straightforward critique during her lessons, mixed with her own unique style of humour. See more

Genevieve Chan

Dancing and instructing both as a leader and follower, she has the advantage and expertise to effectively break down a move, taking care to explain the body mechanics involved on both sides.

  • Getting to Dance Social @ Burlington Square

In addition to classes, Dance Social is where the student-run “Midweek Zouk Fix” social is held on most Wednesdays. Once you enter through the front entrance of Burlington Square, keep left and walk all the way down the corridor, towards the back of the Burlington Square building. Take any elevator up to the 11th floor. Dance Social is located in the office tower at #11-12.

  • Parking

Closest per-entry car park is at Burlington Square. Carpark entrance is along Bencoolen St, just past Burlington Square. A good alternative is Sim Lim Squarem which is just next to Burlington Square. There’s also on-street parking along Prinsep St and Queen St.

  • MRT

Take the Downtown line (blue) and alight at Rochor MRT Station (DT13) – Exit A (Burlington Residences). This is the closest MRT station. If you don’t mind walking a bit, you can also alight at Bugis MRT Station (DT14/EW12) – Exit A (Burlington Square) or Bencoolen MRT Station (DT21).

  • Getting to The Lumen Room

The Lumen Room is a beautiful studio, located on the third floor of a narrow 3-storey building, between Church of Saints Peter & Paul and Crossings Cafe. You will see a gym on the ground floor. Simply head up the stairs to the third floor, and walk towards the other end. There are chairs and a table just outside of the studio, where you can rest.
